J 40

The NEW J/40 is a high-performance cruising yacht, capable of ocean cruising.

It offers exceptional comfort, both at anchor and at sea.

This new 40-foot model boldly pushes the limits of performance, versatility and comfort.

On the new J/40, all sail controls are located in the large cockpit, with six winches optimally positioned for quick access to hoisting and trimming.

The mainsail is the main driving force behind the sail plan, and all controls (mainsheet, backstay and cap shrouds) are within easy reach of the pilot.

The small, uncovered jib allows you to tack in the blink of an eye, with much better visibility and far fewer jib sheets to adjust than with a covering genoa.

For enhanced downwind performance, the new J/40 is equipped with a fixed carbon bow, allowing the use of an asymmetric spinnaker or a furling code sail.
