Whitby boat works Ltd

Whitby Boat Works Ltd. was a Canadian shipyard founded in 1960 by Kurt Hansen in Ontario.
In 1961, he collaborated with naval architect Carl Alberg to design the famous Alberg 30, a highly successful 9.2-meter sailing yacht.

The company was active until 1988, and is best known for its rugged, fiberglass-constructed blue-water cruisers, which continue to be appreciated by sailors the world over.
