Waarship

Waarschip is a renowned Dutch shipyard, founded in 1963 by Willem J. Akkerman and Klaas T. Kremer.
Specializing in the construction of fast chine sailboats, Waarschip has made a name for itself with its high-performance, lightweight and affordable boats, often offered as kits for amateur builders.

Faced with competition from more economical fiberglass boats, the yard ran into difficulties, leading to its closure in 1997.
