This First 47.7 was bought directly from her first owner in 2007 in Italy. She crossed the Atlantic to Argentina the same year. Subsequently, the boat remade several transatlantic crossings from the Mediterranean to South America and the Antilles, each time with a minimum crew.
In 2013, the boat returned to the Caribbean for navigation in the Caribbean archipelago. European VAT has been paid.
Alain, the owner, knows his boat very well after 42 000 miles of navigation aboard “Calenda”! She is ready for another transatlantic crossing with a new owner, having always been well maintained. A few updates are needed however, notably to the powerful 9/10 standing rigging.
