Elan Marine

Elan Marine, better known today as Elan Yachts, is a division of the Slovenian Elan Group, founded in 1949.

Production began with kayaks and canoes made from waterproof wooden planks. 
In 1962 Elan began manufacturing polyester-reinforced boats, and the use of this innovative material revolutionized the world of yacht building.

Elan Yachts designs and builds sailing yachts combining performance, comfort and innovative design.
The yard has built fast cruisers, with the (Impression) range from 31 feet to 51 feet, and the (Performance) range from 21 feet to 45 feet.

In 2025, Elan Yachts announced a major strategic reorientation, involving a temporary halt in production to completely rethink its range of sailing yachts.
