Gibert Marine

Gibert Marine is a French shipyard founded in 1972 in Marans, Charente-Maritime. It first produced sport keelboats such as the Téquila, before specializing in cruising and racing yachts.

It is best known for its range of Gib'Sea sailboats, which left their mark on the nautical landscape from the 1970s to the 1990s.

In 1996, the shipyard was acquired by Dufour Yachts, who temporarily relaunched production under the name Gib'Sea by Dufour. Production ceased for good in 2009.
