Yamaha

The Japanese brand Yamaha is a well-known multinational.
It has been active in the marine industry since the 1960s, with a wide range of marine products from sailboats to powerboats and personal watercraft.

Yamaha began building boats in 1960, concentrating on fiberglass craft. In 1962, the yard launched the HIFLEX model, a small towable boat.
In the 1970s, Yamaha collaborated with the French firm Groupe Finot to design sailboats such as the Yamaha 29, appreciated for its innovative design.

Yamaha is also a major player in motorboats and personal watercraft.
In 1986, the company launched the WaveRunner, the world's first saddle-seat personal watercraft, marking the beginning of its dominance in the watercraft sector.
