Selling Your Boat Under a Semi-Exclusive Listing Agreement
With a semi-exclusive listing agreement, you remain in control of the sale
Do you have a personal network or think you can find a buyer for your boat on your own? A semi-exclusive listing allows you to benefit from a broker’s support while retaining the option to sell directly, without an additional intermediary.
This mandate thus combines autonomy with professional support.
Selling Under a Semi-Exclusive Listing: The Benefits
- Flexibility: You can sell your boat on your own
- Professional Support: A&C Yacht Brokers remains your sole point of contact for managing the listing
- Consistent Listing Price: A single price is set and used in all communications
- Strategic Visibility: Your boat benefits from our network and marketing tools
Your Commitment
Under the semi-exclusive listing agreement:
- You agree not to engage another broker for the sale
- A&C Yacht Brokers remains the sole professional intermediary listed on the agreement
- The jointly agreed-upon asking price must be stated in all your communications
If you find the buyer yourself
You may conclude the sale directly with a buyer you have identified, with no intermediary other than A&C Yacht Brokers.
In this case, our commission is 5% of the sale price, and we handle all administrative procedures:
- Drafting the preliminary sales agreement
- Arranging the boat inspection
- Drafting the deeds of sale
- Assistance through the transfer of ownership
If the sale is conducted through A&C Yacht Brokers
If the buyer is found through our agency, the applicable commission is 10% of the sale price. We then handle the entire sales process and all associated formalities.
