The RM 1260’s hull design is inspired directly by ocean-racing yachts: power and stability are the outstanding features.
Note that the obvious bilges in the hull promise rigidity, stability and performance.
The hull was designed to accommodate two design options:
- Bi-keel / mono-rudder to keep the draft to a minimum, with the ability to beach or tie-up at the quayside
- Mono keel / bi-rudder to give maximum performance, with or without a carbon mast
