Alliaura Marine’s history has been shaped by that of several shipyards and built around a family of devotees.
It all started with Alain Rabineau’s love for the sea and sailing which, while owning a Privilège 48, led him to take over the Jeantôt Marine shipyard in the Sables d'Olonne in 1996.
This shipyard had been founded in 1985 and built sailing catamarans, Privilèges, and power catamarans, Euphories, for which Jeantôt Marine was a forerunner.
Alliaura Marine developed the Privilège range by launching new models such as the Privilège 465, later becoming known as the Privilège 495, the Privilège 585 or more recently the Privilège 615 and the flagship, the Privilège 745.
It also acquired the Kirié shipyard in 2000, thus expanding its product range.
Today, Alliaura sailboats, in particular the Privilège and Feeling models, remain highly sought-after on the second-hand market for their quality of construction and comfort on the high seas.
